At this time in my life I'm feeling grounded and centered in myself, getting it that I'm perfectly imperfect.

Words can't adequately explain this quiet miracle.  Not only is acceptance of “what is” present but at the same time an understanding that we all have unlimited potential to express greater love, acceptance, joy and peace.  It's something that feels like it's spiraling upwards…

As I grow in acceptance of myself I realize there's nothing wrong with me when I cry or get angry or feel greedy or lazy or sad or ecstatic or self-centered or generous or silly or any of those other things that make me human - a friend pointed out to me that this is a result of having a willing and open heart.

All that being said, there are so many ways in which I try to hide from or cover up my humanness or think I have some stuff figured out and that I'm so advanced and enlightened that I don't have to be bothered with the messiness of my humanity. And so my spiritual evolutionary adventures continue. 

Besides the introspective activities like spiritual growth and self awareness I have many other interests.  I LOVE to be outside.  I run at least 3 days a week, hike whenever I can and enjoy relaxing in my hammock in my back yard.  I love to cook and consider it my number one artistic expression.  I'm an aspiring canvas painter and skilled face painter. I LOVE music - favorite artists are many with current top favorites being U2, Radiohead, The Shins, Sting, Jesse Cook, Gabriel Rios, Govi, Black Eyed Peas, Andrew Bird, Ozomatli, India Ire Bird York and the list goes on. Music is an important part of my everyday life. 

I like to watch movies but never watch TV (don't even have cable) I like to sing and read and have long talks over a good bottle of wine. I love the beach and plan to live near the ocean again hopefully in the not too distant future.  I'm a passionate sensitive person and I also have a silly side that can tend toward being strange and a little goofy.

To wrap things up I have 2 beautiful daughters who inspire me to be the best person I can be.  I love them to the moon and treasure sharing our individual paths of self-discovery. 

I work doing account management/business development for a new and energetic company.  I get to work from home which I love and I enjoy what I do.

I've always wanted to travel and have lived different places in the US with California being my favorite. I plan to make more trips abroad.  I would like to become fluent in Spanish and continue learning new things for the rest of my life.
